View Full Version : Cleveland HiboreXL
I've used a lot of different drivers and I think the HiboreXL is the best driver that I have ever used. It's long, forgiving, & I like the look of it. When I seen this driver for the first time I did not care for the look of it but it grew on me. I started using it in 2007 and even though Cleveland came out with a newer model, the XLS I'm sticking with the XL. Since it is a "older" model anyone who wanted one could probably find one for a pretty good price. I would strongly recomend this driver.

I demo'd the new 09 launcher....played 2 rounds with it...and I realy like it. I have played the Hi bore..ehhh. it was ok.. and I've played the xls. I liked it, it was just so stinkin load it scared me. But. I did like the new laincher. I just might have to pick one up
I used to use to Launcher 460. It was ok. I don't really care for the looks of the XLS.

I'm picking up the XL friday, got a killer deal on it and since it was highly recommend by CG8 I decided to try it. I needed a driver since I was using a 3 wood off the tee.

If you don't mind me asking what are you getting it for?
There are days when I'm hitting my driver like shit, it's not the club it's the idiot using it. When that happens I use a HighBore 3 Wood and I get good distance and control with that club. Right down the middle. Ball takes off low and slowly rises like a heat seeking missle :golf: :headbang:

Don't know man but I swear by this one in the photo. Just a plain old HiBore 3 wood. You can also get one with a 5 wood degree loft.

Yeah. Here is a photo of mine in my bag next to the driver. Since this photo I got rid of the 5 Wood XLS.
